Batches and expiry dates
Each batch stores its expiry date, and picking follows the FEFO rule: whatever expires first goes out first. Quarantined, defective and blocked goods are excluded from available stock.
When stock lives in a spreadsheet and sales in another system, it's easy to sell an item twice or forget an expiry date. Business OS Warehouse keeps a catalog shared with CRM: receiving, reserving for a deal, picking and shipping all go through one log. Quarantined, defective and blocked goods never count toward available stock.
For companies with inventory: stores, manufacturers, distributors and service teams with spare parts.

Receive goods with scanning, reserve them for a deal, pick partially and ship. Receiving import shows a check first, then writes.
Transfer goods between warehouses, process returns and run stocktaking. Write-offs go through the assigned approvals.
Sales are linked to CRM deals, invoices and payments, and replenishment creates shared purchase requests. Reports export to CSV, XLSX and JSON.
Scan the items or upload a receiving file: the system shows discrepancies before writing anything.
The reservation is linked to the deal in CRM, and stock immediately drops for other sales.
Picking suggests batches by expiry date, and the shipment goes into the log and closes the reservation.
Permissions are assigned to specific warehouses and actions: who sees stock, who receives, who writes off. Connecting scales, label printers and third-party accounting systems is discussed separately.
