Clinics

Appointments and a queue with a display board, doctor visits, medical records, lab and prescriptions — on top of CRM, calendar and invoices

Clinics is an app for a medical center or practice: appointments, a queue with a display board, doctor visits, medical records, lab, diagnostics and prescriptions. The patient comes from the shared contact book, the time from the doctor's calendar, and payment goes through Invoices and Payments.

Clinic live queue with tickets
Today's queue: each patient has a ticket, a doctor and a room, with statuses “In consultation”, “Called”, “Arrived, waiting” and buttons to call, start the visit and mark a no-show.
Overview

Clinics: what it does and how it works

A clinic, medical center or practice in one window. The patient comes from the shared contact book, the doctor is a company employee, the appointment time is in the doctor's calendar, and payment goes through Invoices and Payments. Reception books into free slots based on the doctor's hours: the database itself won't allow double booking of a doctor or a room. An arriving patient gets a ticket, and the queue shows on a display board in the hallway — for the whole clinic, a floor or a room: the ticket number and room, with no surnames; a call flashes, chimes and is announced by voice.

The doctor conducts the visit: complaints, history, examination, vitals, ICD-10 diagnoses, conclusion and recommendations; finishing the visit puts the conclusion in the record and issues an invoice. Medical record: allergies, chronic conditions, blood type, visit and diagnosis history, tests and prescriptions, stamped documents, charts of blood pressure, weight and results. Lab: referral, sample collection, results with reference ranges by sex and age, above- and below-range flags, a notification to the doctor. Prescriptions: medications, procedures and recommendations, completion marks by day, edit history, a procedure becomes a task for a nurse; a drug the patient is allergic to won't be prescribed silently.

Who sees medical records, conducts visits, works in the lab and carries out prescriptions is chosen in settings: employees, departments and groups. Every opening of a medical record is logged. Report: visits and no-shows, waiting time, doctor workload and revenue, frequent diagnoses, lab turnaround times. Diagnostics: a catalog of studies (ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI, ECG, endoscopy and your own), referrals from a visit, medical record or prescription, booking a specialist into a room and onto a machine with no double booking, patient preparation approved by a manager, the study itself, a templated report with protocol fields, review by another specialist, versioned corrections, result release; images, PDF and DICOM only by permission, with every download logged.

Equipment: a registry, maintenance and faults with a task for the person responsible; maintenance windows block bookings, and taking equipment out of service never cancels bookings silently. The medical record shows tests and studies in one feed.

How it works

How to use it, step by step

  1. 1

Set up rooms, doctors with working hours, services and prices in the reference lists

  2. 2

Reception books the patient into a free slot, or the patient books themselves by link

  3. 3

An arriving patient gets a ticket, and the queue shows on a display board in the hallway

  4. 4

The doctor calls the patient, conducts the visit, refers them for tests and studies and writes prescriptions

  5. 5

Finishing the visit puts the conclusion in the medical record and issues an invoice

  6. 6

The manager reviews the report on visits, doctor workload and revenue

Not connected yet

We are honest about what works only with an external provider or is still planned:

  • No connection to PACS or machines — only a link to an external image viewer
  • Lab analyzers are not connected: results are entered by hand
  • There is no legally binding electronic signature
  • No exchange with insurance systems: an employee enters the insurer's decisions
  • National health systems, SMS and OCR are in the integration registry but need a separate connection
  • Emergency care is an internal call log, not connected to the official 103/112 services
