Running a venue: from QR menu to paid order

The guest chooses a dish, staff work on the order and the cashier records the payment. The catering apps in Business OS bring these steps together around the venue and its tables. The menu, floor and register modules are connected as part of the company workspace.

For cafés, restaurants and other venues with a menu, guest service and order tracking.

Apps

Each app in detail

Work tools

What you can do

01

QR code menu

Publish dishes with photos, prices and add-ons. The guest opens the menu in the browser, with no app to install and no Business OS sign-up.

02

Zones, tables and service

Organize the venue by zones and tables. You can prepare a QR code for a table, and staff receive the related service requests.

03

Floor and kitchen orders

Work with orders and their statuses in the venue's operational process. Menu data is used by the connected apps.

04

Register shifts and payments

Open and close shifts, record cash, card or gift certificate payments, including mixed payment. Track pay-ins, payouts and register discrepancies.

Practical scenario

Example: run a small café

  1. 1

    Prepare the venue

Create zones and tables, fill in the menu and place the QR codes.

  2. 2

    Take the order

The guest opens the menu, and staff handle the order as it goes through service.

  3. 3

    Record the payment

Record the order payment in the register app and close the shift after counting the money.

Requirements and compatibility

The register module covers order, payment and shift records. Support for a specific bank terminal, fiscal register and fiscal data operator must be agreed separately; having a POS app doesn't imply it.

Questions and answers

If your scenario is different, tell the CODE44 team about it.

Discuss your needs
Does the guest need to install Business OS?

No. The public QR menu opens in the browser on the guest's device.

Do I need to print a new QR code after a price change?

As long as the table's menu address stays the same, menu changes are published at the same link. The QR code doesn't need changing just because of a dish's price or description.

Can payment be split between cash and card?

Yes. The register app supports mixed payment and tracking the payment method. Actually charging a bank card depends on the equipment and integration used.
